Why do some forms of cancer most common among young and more common in the elderly?

I know that cancer does not discriminate by age, sex, race, etc. .. but I heard that some cancers strike different age groups …. Why is it? Why cancers such as lymphoma, leukemia or osteosarcoma affects mostly teenagers, in contrast to cancers such as prostate cancer or cancer bowel that usually affects people over 50 years?
