prostate infection or bigger problem?

My boyfriend is 30 years old has been having abdominal pain for the past year. First we got blood work done and he had Hep B so we thought it was liver swelling. He’s gotten all his shots and that taken care of and than they found a kidney stone. We got the kidney stone removed but than he still have lower back and abdominal pain still.

After we have sex and he ejaculates he has to pee once or twice throughout the night. Its very painful and sensitive when he is ejaculating also. The next 24 hrs he has to constantly go to the washroom at work.

He’ll have night sweats and bad back/abdominal pain for days. This is pushing him to stop not having sex because of the symptoms.

We are in the process of switching family doctors because his old physician is an hour north of us.

Any advice or info on prostate problems?

First of all, I do not know that this is a prostate problem. It could be a million other things, including STDs, an addiction problem, or another sickness.
