Doctors and nurses in hospitals nursing homes / really this stupid?

Who the hell is attempted to remove a catheter non-invasive and then try to push a house with stage IV cancer patients was 87 years old? Especially when in the attempt of the hospital and could not be passed prostate? Why on earth would try to do the painful task again? In other words, it is a good deal to do installations and it happened almost?
