Is it normal for an old dog has been neutered, only to have dark urine golden?

My seven years, a big old dog the breed was neutered a few days a week after many prostatitis and antibiotics. He is doing well, recovering well and drink well eat. But his urine is very dark no bleeding, Brown. I called two vets and one said he did not and my vet said that the surgeon needs more likely to drink more water, canned food and Pedialyte perhaps. If no changes bring a urine sample in.

I would say that urine is concentrated and for your dog to your fluid intake. But you must have done a urine honeslty, just to be sure. Some medications, so make sure the urine becomes darker.
