If someone has an elevated PSA – what happens next?

- I think it would repeat the PSA, then if it was still higher than we could biopsy to see if it is a cause of prostatitis or cancer? Am I right? If it is cancer, then what is the next? Directly to surgery? I hear ppl who knowabout / or have tried the previous …. Ty
