Common causes of prostate infection

Depending on the type of prostate infection you have, which will determine possible causes. Each type infection of the prostate is different in knowing what kind of symptoms that occur and the most common causes of infection of the prostate.

Category 1-Acute bacterial prostatitis

The most common cause of this type of prostate infection is the bacterium that is normally in the large intestine. Sometimes, an infection of the urethra or bladder can spread infection to the prostate and, if left untreated.

Category 2-chronic bacterial prostatitis
