Second opinioin prostate cancer – What is the purpose?

I have just been informed that I have a degree of prostate cancer high on the left side of the prostate. No shows cancer in the right .. I want to get a second opinion, but I'm not sure what this test. Biopsy? The report is a biopsy? O??
