Women Against prostate cancer Support Group launches updated website
Women Against Prostate Cancer (WAPC), education activities cancer of the prostate and the organization focused on promoting women and families affected by prostate cancer, is pleased to announce its site up to date: womenagainstprostatecancer.org. The site also offers a list of chapters and support groups for prostate cancer across the country.
The new site will serve as a resource for women who want to learn more about prostate cancer and / or looking for support after diagnosis of a loved one. The site includes basic information on prostate cancer, resources for caregivers and information on clinical trials. Visit the site to read stories of hope pain and triumph of women who have personally suffered from prostate cancer in first.
The updated site is based on WAPC mission to unite voice and support the millions of women and their families affected by prostate cancer. Education advocates WAPC prostate cancer public awareness, projections, legislation and options for treatment.
Prostate cancer is the disease not only a man can have a devastating impact on women, couples and families. WAPC is to allow relatives to learn, participate and help aa stop this disease. With an estimated 2 million American men currently living with prostate cancer and another 192,000 will be diagnosed this year, there are potentially millions of Women seeking answers to questions about the disease and its impact on families.
