Doctors of my father 6 months to 3 years. I do not know what to do ….?

My father was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and certain injections is to reduce the growth rate for treatment. I'm supposed to go to Italy for 6-8 weeks in the summer and my father said he really wants to go, even if they offered to stay home. I'm back in college and I am so confused and sad. I know I'm lucky compared with many others who have lost their parents at a much earlier age. Should I go to Italy as my father wants me, or stay home and be with him? And if only has 6 months of the end? So I feel very badly for Italy, but if you live in 2 or 3 years older, so do not feel so bad. How I can do most of the time I left with him? I'm going to school in another city that lives, so do not see every day or every week for that matter. Dropping out is not an option, because I'd be angry against me. Please only serious answers.

Honor your wishes parents. He wants to be happy. I would even try to spend as long as possible with him, though. Try to make a special album that you can share. Sure that whenever you talk to him tell him we appreciate the life you gave and he likes it. You may want to consider support groups for both. I know it's hard but life must continue.
