Dairy products low in fat may increase the risk of prostate cancer
Data from a long-term study showed a possible link between consumption of dairy products, including whole and skim milk, cheese and ice cream, with an increased risk of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is a major cause of death among men worldwide.
It appears from these studies that the increased risk of prostate cancer associated a higher consumption of milk.
Data from several studies have supported the Association may, but many Other studies have failed to establish a link.
To explore this issue more closely, scientists led by Dr. Song-Yi Park Program of Cancer Epidemiology, Cancer Research Center of Hawaii, Honolulu headquarters, Hawaii University, examined data on individuals participating the multiethnic cohort study. The study, conducted between 1993 and 2002, including adults between 45 and 75 years were mainly five different ethnic or racial groups,
and lived in California or Hawaii.
A total of 82,483 men in the study a frequency Food and quantitative factors such as weight, smoking and snuff, and levels of education also noted, Park Group.
During a median follow-up period of 8 years, 4404 men developed prostate cancer. There was no evidence that products milk increased the risk of prostate cancer. This conclusion is valid in all racial and ethnic groups.
In a comprehensive analysis of food groups, consumption of dairy products and milk are not associated with risk of prostate cancer, the study showed. A more detailed analysis, but without suggested that milk low fat or fat does not increase the risk of localized tumors or non-aggressive tumors, while whole milk decreased this risk.
Initially similar study, Dr. Yikyung Park, National Cancer Institute at National Institutes (NIH) of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and colleagues studied the relationship dairy products and prostate cancer among 293,888 men enrolled in the NIH-American Association of Retired Persons Diet and Health Study, conducted between 1995 and 2001. The average follow-up was 6 years.
Studies have revealed that 12 percent risk reduction of developing prostate cancer for those who drank whole milk. In contrast, there was an increase of 16 per cent risk of developing prostate cancer for those who drank 2% skim milk.
Skim milk has been linked to prostate cancer advanced. Calcium from dairy foods, by contrast, was associated with reduced risk of prostate cancer advanced.

Why should taxpayers' money being diverted to women and not only those groups that people in general?
In the United States, for example, "Dr. Gremillion … noted the disparity between the expenditures of cancer research at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) between breast cancer and prostate cancer in 2000 "because of pressure from" the Office of Health Research for Women and the Office of Women's Health "http://olpa.od.nih.gov/hearings/107/session1/reports/advancing.asp This is the aspect of the health budget, as in Australia a few years http://members.ozemail.com. / UA ~ Irgeo/0197p23.htm Men have no health problems or something?
Hmm … Welcome to order Again, where the strongest voice of the state. For years, white Anglo-Saxon is the master of all and we did well without pity. We controlled wealth, control of the church, which controlled the country, making it almost rules. (This was the beginning of the clock all the way to a side). Then came the age of reason and political correctness, where we began to worry about right or wrong, just or unjust, and pendulum began its turn toward the bottom center of the road, where like any pendulum never really stop there, and no recovery has begun to the left. Thus began the era of exploitation of anything and everything. This is not to be fair, is a blame game now. It's a way to manipulate the system to get the most power that can complain the most. His years in the white man is to blame for everything. We're all to blame for women's issues, which are guilty of racism, despite the deaths in the thousands of people in defense of the ideal that everyone should be equal. This is not the show, his goal advantage of our guilt, and get the most they can. During the time I been alive, slavery has not been established, however, minorities still speak of 200 years of oppression, as its occurs today as we speak, and women made it, and began producing its own database, and realized that if you complained enough enough strong and feel guilty whatever it takes to try to make love to us all. Even if it means special treatment in the cost of equity. But with so many human beings, not just one race or sex or creed, rules of absolute greed, and nothing is ever enough. The old adage is very fair that you give someone an inch, which represents about one mile. Well, now the pendulum is swinging in the swing for anyone is ready to scream loud enough, and if we are guilty, we just sit and do nothing and say nothing and let it go. So we have to blame anyone but ourselves, because we have yet we must learn the only thing that women and minorities in this country have learned is that if we we do not unite and work together, we will be crushed. Who is likely what will happen as the pendulum continues to swing up, because unfortunately, there are men in this country who still think that we should be guilty, and did not realize there is no oppression of gender, race or more than all their propaganda, and we have nothing to reproach himself. But in the meantime, and until we realize we must defend our rights, and before he sank in silence and we did nothing to stop complaining to complain will take you anywhere unless you do something respect. Then let your recrimination and act on, or just sit and be quiet because you lose time for everyone.
