To fight against cancer, know your enemy to fight cancer, fight to eliminate cancer, we must be united
Cancer lung is an assassin. Walk into any public place, anywhere and ask for a vote at the hands of people who know someone who has cancer and 85% hands Spring is in the air followed by stories of battles won and lost the courage and fear in the world the battle, however, fought hand to hand, one by one and several times less, to death. For those who struggle and survive, their course is altered in any way, you'll never be exactly the person the same as they once were, Lessons of Life can be hard sometimes.
I read an article written by Dr. James Watson, the founder Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Nobel brilliant, sometimes controversial thinker of thought. I have nothing short of respect and admiration for him than for which gave the world throughout his career. His appeal to the battle were collected by Dr. Antonio Giordano of the Sbarro Health Research, also called the "war to the second most common cancer to get started. At the University of Wisconsin, there is a very dedicated group of volunteers working hard to staff research with scientists and researchers. I am sure the whole country, playing fair, research facilities pending ongoing funding to continue a war.
I am not a winner, a scientist and I am a winner of the Nobel Prize. I do not know how to divide a cell. The genes with which they work are Levi. I will not be that develops a cure, it is not my paper. I run a survivor of lung cancer small cells. I say now, because things can change. As young people with lung cancer cells to survive the five year mark is an achievement that few can attain. Lung cancer is the deadliest major cancer and will kill more people each year and breast cancer, colon and prostate cancer combined.
What we offer is now the patient perspective to the war against cancer. First, let me say that my knowledge strictly lung cancer and the treatments I underwent. As the patient, but there seems to be universal methods of treatment depending on the type and severity of cancer you have, every person reacts differently to treatment. We are dependent on medical opinion and experience that give us the best option for treatment, we are dependent on a scientist or researcher to provide the physician with the best options to we deal with. It is then up to us to fight and survive. The treatment I received was double the radiation mixed day for chemotherapy Preventive followed by radiotherapy in the brain to eliminate cells that might have migrated as geese. These treatments have helped to save or at least prolong my life and I am grateful for that. But the UN-hard and give and what will eventually lead to almost kills. We must continue to apply methods one day give the time to defend against rather than a finger by finger with cancer as boxers in the ring.
The American Society Cancer suggest there will be 1,479,350 new cancer cases diagnosed in 2009. Comply with what I know, 219,440 of these cases will be tied around the lung of 14.5%. On the 219,440 cases, there is an expected mortality of 72.5%. 159,390 friends, family, Mom, Dad, and if children are losing a vicious battle quickly with lung cancer. The members of the family, mothers, fathers and children left for tomorrow and wonder what if things had been different?
When we speak to kill cancer in a group effort. Collectively as a culture must continue to grow and develop new talents in the areas of search. We ensure that new ideas flow leaders liberate our minds. We should be at the front of the development of new technologies. We must obtain funding from all possible means. Corporate America Federal Government should accelerate to provide capital and resources on a scale much greater. Search private sectors face in public and private not win when it comes to cancer.
What you and I are going To help defend our families and ourselves? If I were a man with a gun to his daughter what lengths to be delivered under damage and interests? Cancer is just that, a weapon is responsible for targeting each member of your family as if it were a cosmic game of roulette Russian. Cancer attack and kill without reason, without remorse. Cancer does not discriminate, no excuse for their behavior. Cancer knows no social boundaries, rich or poor, all are vulnerable.
I maintain that it is our responsibility as a society to help provide for research cancer and development above the normal taxes we pay. Maybe once a month to waive the Cheeseburger bottled water added, the new download ringtones that are $ 5.00 and send it to a scientist who can be turned around and save your life in your research. So here's the math $ 5.00 per month times 12 months = $ 60 per year per person times the current population of the United States between the ages of 18 and 65, or 144,950,554 people. We give to 9.8% of people in a period of unemployment of a group that could generate 130,745,400 $ 7,844,724,000. I exaggerate? Yes and no. Yes, because that this is not how we work, we like our hamburgers with cheese and bottled water and everything. But imagine the impact it could have as a nation if everyone could give a little something of importance that trade and ensure a better life and healthier for the next generation. And if what we saw kill our parents were exiled from our existence, because of our efforts?
November is the month of awareness of lung cancer. I ask you to start now, if not already done so. Fill a flat in the University of Wisconsin, Sponsor a researcher at Temple University, or help fund research in all major institutions across the country who work with financial support in an effort to improve our lives. To kill the cancer, we must remain united.

Fundraising for Prostate Cancer?
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I was wondering if you have any collection funds or events that help fund research for prostate cancer. I ask because you talk a lot about breast cancer and not much on the prostate cancer. I would also like to know where I could donate.
A few months ago at Safeway, I was asked to give a dollar for prostate cancer, so I did. I have a blue bracelet (a type of Lance Armstrong) I did not ask if it was a month or something special … But the type I for urologists, and I may be able to discover, since it is their specialty. How did they ask? because it seems to be the male equivalent of breast cancer? There are also many testicles. I wish all cancers can be solved ….
