Hello, I know that nobody can give me an exact date, but I am very worried about my grandfather I want to know what is the probability that will live for another year or will be gone: (He is 83 and was diagnosed with prostate cancer 4 years ago. The latest news is that the cancer has spread to the bones and kidneys, and doctors decided to stop treatment and cope with pain. That's all I know. My uncle was with him at the appointment, the grandfather became very confused can not tell us what was said and my uncle is a catastrophe in the transmission of information. Despite Request information, that's all he said. I used to go with my grandfather to his appointment, but he had the flu so should remain clear: (So what are the prospects? not really want to see him suffer, I prefer to have another stroke and death in the morning to see the long-term pain: (I know nobody here I can give correct answer, you just want information about possible outcomes. Thank you

Hello darling, I'm sorry to hear about your grandparents condition. As you know nobody can give an exact amount of time, but all I can say is a friend who had cancer prostate. This gentleman when he learned he had cancer of the prostate had already reached her bones and kidneys and died in the 9 months. Pain Management is the best side in my opinion and make it as comfortable as possible. My grandfather died of pancreatic cancer and management Pain was all he could do for him. Towards the end, when the pain began to increase physicians also increased their medication cons pain that eventually made him the dose and go quietly to sleep. All we can do is stay with him and give him all the love and support they can and will fight to ensure they do everything to control pain. I know the history of all this does not make you feel better, but I doubt that anything can relieve your pain and trouble to listen to other stories or the truth is best. I wish you and your grandfather well and pray for her convenience to you and your family. Ginger
