My stepfather was diagnosed with prostate cancer 2 years ago. He was in severe pain and was Recently the "RTU" procedure done, only to find that there is the small cell carcinoma. Now, his doctor wants to do a laparoscopic prostatectomy. I wonder if this procedure is a cure and if not what happens with small cell carcinoma? remove prostate is not a panacea for the problems of Small cell is still there, right?
