Are Vits. C and E, good for the fight against cancer? ?

Journal reported this morning that were worthless. Then there is selenium. That I saw and heard Peter Jennings Rave really effective selenium to protect against cancer. And that is what killed the commentator News – lung cancer. And zinc for the prostate. Any proof? The list is long. So my question is: Are we being bombarded by men new drugs time? The Old Timers was selling snake oil and opium derivatives. The food vendors have all new health diseases covered. Of A to Z His comment, please. Thank you. Mike

I read the article as well, and I must say that the study was very wide, covering a long period of time. Assuming that these physicians were selected adhered to the rules of the study, the results seem to be very precise. There was a lot of vitamins and supplements that have been their applications for preventive treatments discredited lately. I think these different vitamins and minerals sought their value as antioxidants, which can cause oxidation of cellular DNA damage, and possibly increase the risk of cancer. Cancer is a difficult beast indeed, and its causes and factors vary for almost everyone. Is much more about cancer and other multifactorial diseases (such as cardiovascular disease or diabetes) just taking supplements, such as exercise and diet, by course. Should probably be considered if these physicians have joined with similar lifestyles and consumption of these vitamins, because it could a big difference. I think the evidence from this study is strong, but not yet conclusive.
