Glands prostate of a dog without cause inflammation is what causes an enlarged prostate gland. The swelling is due to sex hormones that affect the gland prostate.

Two types of sex hormones are responsible for inflammation and disruption. The first is testosterone. Testosterone is a male sex hormone that is produced in the testes. When this hormone stimulates more of the prostate gland and causes an inflammation that can cause much pain and discomfort.

The second is estrogen, a female hormone that also occurs in dogs, but in very small quantities. This too will the prostate to swell and the cell structure of the prostate gland, may also change through a process called squamous metaplasia.

If the cause of this disease dates back to a female hormone, this may be due to a tumor in Sertoli cells and should therefore be checked appropriately.

Initally, the veterinarian can look for possible symptoms such as back arched and hind legs of things to to ensure that the dog has this condition. It is followed by the vet takes the dog's temperature to ensure that no fever. The normal temperature prostatitis is excluded and therefore leave us with prostatic hypertrophy.

The vet may want to feel an inflammation of the prostate gland by anus with his fingers, to ensure that the dog feels no pain in the region and excluded prostatitis further.

If your dog shows signs of too much testosterone in men vet may suggest the use of injections to get this and it leads to an appropriate level. If that fails, then the only option left is to get the dog sterilized, it removes the area that produces the hormone.

Castration is also solution if the problem results from the female hormone. This will help to remove the tumor in the affected testicle. There are cases here, the hormone that causes the problem May be difficult to find and therefore more tests such as blood analysis, ultrasound and biopsy may even be necessary to confirm.

Frequent urination. Sensitivity to wine and tea. Dry and thirsty in the morning.?

After numerous trips to intense bike, I felt a burning sensation in the pelvic region and an excessive desire to urinate. I experienced these symptoms after periods of intense exercise, but always calm. (I also have a hernia that has not been repaired.) This time, besides feeling burning, I also experienced a slight pain in the hip. Also I had a fever one night. Sometimes I felt slight (kidney?) Stones. I stopped riding the bike, started drinking cranberry juice and Saw Palmetto / Nettle. Since then, all symptoms have disappeared except for more frequent than normal, especially after urination and drinking, possibly wine and tea. I never had a problem with the wine before. I think so dry and thirsty during the night or after. My family doctor ruled out diabetes and found no infection urine, even if I was sure he had one. The prostate seems fine after a rectal exam and PSA seems OK. Barely awake several times during the night to urinate. I am 50 + years.

You seem to have urge incontinence bladder infection or hyperactivity Previous bladder .. I had the same and did not use protection. I often visit a urologist. There are drugs for now, but I do not work more. I am very careful not to make sure liquid does not allow me to say that when the desire to go. My PSA is 6.5 and was constant. I am 58 years old. I had all the tests and biopsies.
