How the risk of surgery?
Hello everyone. I am writing because I am worried about my grandfather a procedure that will be submitted soon. He is 89 years and was recently diagnosed with an enlarged prostate. This is something that is common for someone of age. He was responsible for surgery to improve their condition. However, the problem is that he has a heart problem and to submit to the procedure, the doctor said he will use a regional anesthetic. I worry and wonder if your heart will be able to cope with regional anesthesia and wonder if she can undergo surgery for his heart and his age. All comments are welcome. Thank you.
Regional anesthesia is much safer than general anesthesia and has less side effects. If physicians do not feel they can manage, not been programmed especially an elective procedure.
