Problems of yeast and food
Yeast is a microscopic organism that grows in warm areas and wetlands that have sugar as a food source. Everyone has yeast in his body somewhere — Itâ € ™ its natural situation. This is present in the large intestine, often as a thin white layer on the back of the tongue. A strong immune system and bacteria â € € œfriendlyâ within our right to the gut to keep yeast levels in check. However, if a person ™ € s immune system is not working properly, or you nâ € ™ t have the right amount of beneficial bacteria, yeast overgrowth (candidiasis) may occur. Candida albicans is a unicellular fungus, and this case seems to pose more problems related to yeast to man. It can cross the wall of the intestine, which may aggravate food allergies and food sensitivities. The proliferation of Candida in the vagina can cause a painful infection.
In fact, the growth of fungi is much more common among women than among men (1). The proliferation Candida can spread to the ears, nails and / or feet, ears and nose. If it becomes severe, uncontrolled and yeast, the yeast can actually invade many organs and cause problems that threaten health. Some diseases May also contribute to the proliferation of Candida, including: infection HIV, diabetes and cancer. Causes of Thrush May include: steroids, alcohol, a diet high in sugar, use antibiotics, chronic use of oral contraceptives, and parasites.
There are many different symptoms of candidiasis. May neurological symptoms include chronic fatigue, memory loss, alcohol intolerance and depression. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include: food allergies and sensitivities, heartburn, cramps, gas and bloating abdominal pain and diarrhea or constipation. Genitourinary symptoms can include impotence and / or prostatitis in men, and vaginal and / or urinary tract infections women. Other symptoms include May jock itch, athlete € ™ s feet, itching of the rectum, and severe premenstrual syndrome. There is often a desire for alcohol, sweets or cakes.
Like most fungi, Candida thrives in warm and humid areas. This may include areas inside the body and mouth, throat, lower colon (alkaline pH), and vagina. Alkaline pH may support the infection, including infection by yeasts. Therefore, areas such as the normally acidic vagina to help prevent infection. Candida infection of the mouth is called thrush. Language and other areas within mouth to the tip covered with a layer of soft white mushroom.
Many people mistakenly believe that organisms such as fungi and yeasts are harmless micro-organisms. However, the damage yeast toxins in the body is widespread and May are the problems of thyroid, testes, adrenal glands, and / or ovarian cancer, staph infections, impaired immune response, the imbalance of fatty acids, reduced absorption and / or metabolism of nutrients, poor circulation, impairment of neurotransmission, and decreased protein metabolism (2).
There are a variety of on-the-counter drugs to help fight against infections Candida skin, and are generally safe if used properly. There are also some drugs used to fight against the internal yeast Candida. Miconazole (Monistat) is an antifungal cream popular for vaginal yeast infections. Nystatin is an old drug that is relatively calm, but as mentioned elsewhere in this article, some holistic practitioners believe that, even if it kills Candida in the long term is generally ineffective in the fight against fungal infections. They speculate that the drug only postpones the yeast strain in different ways (3). Nystatin could actually kill strains Specific yeasts such as Candida albicans, but may affect other species of fungi relatively unscathed, and these species, then fill the void left albicans. Fluconazole (Diflucan) is an antifungal drug which, unfortunately, the most recent may have liver toxicity and drug interactions multiple side effects.
Treatment           holistic candidiasis can be complicated because there are many variables in the causes and symptoms of this disease. Here are some helpful tips in the fight against proliferation of yeasts. Citrus fruits like lemon, lime, orange, pineapple and grapefruit can exacerbate Candida infection in some people. Try to eliminate these fruits for a few weeks and then reintroduce one by one, once, to see if they are susceptible to the promotional nature of the yeast. People suffering from candidiasis large intestine may have low levels of acid in the stomach (4) should consult a physician. Finally, when a person uses different treatments described below to control fungal infections, which actually may feel worse for a couple of weeks. Often, this may be due to yeast that was killed, and toxins are released into the blood. People feel worse, then from a control program of the yeast should be continued unless the symptoms of toxin yeasts are intolerable.
To help the immune system and friendly bacteria Candida defeat, consumption sugar should be eliminated. These include fructose (fruit sugar), which some people think it is a healthy form of sugar, but is not. Fructose enters the same pathway than sucrose (table sugar). People with candidiasis should also avoid mold food: fermented foods, cheese, mushrooms and grapes. Even sweet yogurt should be avoided because of added sugar in yogurt outweigh benefits of acidophilus bacteria in yogurt. Unsweetened yogurt is the best way. Yogurt without sugar can inhibit yeast infection (5). Itâ € ™ s not recommending the application of yoghurt in the vagina or other areas where yeast infections are on the skin. A good anti-diet Yeast can include eggs, fish, nuts and seeds, poultry, vegetables, meat and small quantities of whole grain (1).
There are several different supplements that can help the body to keep yeast under control. Iron supplements may help the thrush (infection of the mouth and throat) (6). Experiments in mice showed that zinc supplementation resistance increased infection with Candida (7). Search digestive enzymes such as chymotrypsin, lactase, pancrelipase, papain, pepsin and trypsin can Intestinal Candida be useful to keep in check for the better digestion of food. There are other methods to help keep the yeast under control. Women vaginitis who ate eight ounces of yogurt friendly Acidophilus probiotic significantly reduced the Candida infection (8). Tree oil Tea is used for Candida infections treated outside (8). The tea tree oil should never be used internally or by ingestion or as a shower. The oil of oregano has an antifungal activity against Candida (9).
