Question about prostate cancer?

my father has prostate cancer a couple of months. But after a couple of weeks he has discovered removing the prostate and said he was content in the prostate. However, he returned for a medical exam and they did a blood test (twice), which showed he still had cancer. im worried he may go. I was happy when he said that it contained cuz there was no way that could fall ill or die. but now you can enter the abdominal organs or bones? and if not he dead? plz help me is my father whom I speak. I do not know what I'd be without him.

If that means it can spread everywhere. The most common site of metastasis is bone. You give no information that is specific to his father, but prostate cancer is slow growing. It is not uncommon for men to live with 15-20 years and men even when he travels often die of something else. This does not mean he could not die, but most do not. Chemo not used until very late in the disease and many men do not receive chemotherapy.
